The campsite is located approximately 45 km south of Rotterdam on the island of Goeree Overflakkee, near Nieuwe Tonge. It's easy to drive to, so you don't have to go deep into Zeeland.

Close to the campsite, on the Grevelingen, lie the harbours of Battenoord and Bruinisse. From the outer dike, you can see the Grevelingendam and the next marina with ’t Bolbaken restaurant saw Herkingen lying there.
The North Sea beach is about a 25 km drive away, near Ouddorp or Renesse. World-famous is the Brouwersdam. The place for kitesurfing/buggying or windsurfing, and a battery of fun beach cafés.
You can hire a small sailing boat nearby in Bruinisse, at Aquavitesse.
Many pleasant towns in South Holland and Zeeland are within short distance. Discover the old centres of Zierikzee or the cosy twin villages Middelharnis / Sommelsdijk (8 km). Here you will find a comprehensive shopping centre and weekly market, the pleasant marina with terraces and little restaurants and a wide choice of supermarkets and other amenities.

In the surrounding area, the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in particular, cycling and walking are wonderful. There are numerous routes among which is a Walking and cycling network of junction points. Maps are also available in the campsite's reception. Sport fishing can be done in the surrounding creeks and lakes. Nature and bird lovers will also find plenty to enjoy here. The Slikken van Flakkee are nearby, and the rest of Goeree-Overflakkee also offers numerous nature reserves such as the Kwade Hoek and Hellegatsplaten. Wild cattle, numerous roe deer and endless birds.
A boat trip to Metres is easier than ever, with daily ferries sailing to and from the island during the season. You can take your bicycle along, making it a great combination with a cycling trip. There are also special activities for children, who certainly won't get bored. Or rent for a day Sailing boat of Surfboard.
