A selection of the fun and practical things you can find around the campsite:
- You can find a lot of information at our VVV Goeree-Overflakkee, at the Ouddorp inspiration point or even better: on their visitgo.nl
- Many guests have a small boat with or without a mooring in the Nappy, Directly next to the campsite. Within 5 minutes of the beautiful watersports area De Grevelingen. Simply bring your boat on holiday. We can arrange for you to use the slipway or a mooring berth via our reception. The harbour is not expensive.
- In the winter you will find here flamingo's. How special is that! A colony of up to 60!.
- After a 5-minute bike ride you will find a beautiful animal park, Faunapark Flakkee, with a mini-golf course and a cosy pancake house. Via our reception including a free drink! Nowadays, the beautiful flamingos can also be admired here in the summer.
- Even more amazing is the seal sanctuary A seal in Stellendam. Seal pups are looked after here, and there's a fun exhibition where you can see them up close.
- In Middelharnis is a beautiful, subtropical De Staver swimming pool. You can also go there for bowling, tennis, and a bite to eat.
- There's a lot of surfing. You can do that right from our little beach. You just walk over the dike. A world-famous surf spot is De Grevelingendam, on the other side of the lake. There you will find a wonderful beach pavilion And there's a surf/swimming beach. There are also two kitesurfing spots there. Ten minutes by bike along the water or a 10-minute drive around the outside.
- The Brouwersdam, the world-famous water sports area, is 25 km further away.
- There is ample space to walk your dog along the water, through the polder, or through the hamlet of Battenoord. Behind the dike lies the Nature discovery trail, a walking route for children with questions and answers about nature. There is also a geocache hidden.
- The island of Goeree-Overflakkee is ideally suited for wonderful cycling and walking. There are numerous routes and, among other things, there's a Cycle route network. Tickets are available at the ticket desk, among other places. Meanwhile, there is also a Walking network unrolled
- In season, this area is known for its magnificent tulip fields and beautiful sunsets. The tulips are there in the weeks leading up to King's Day.
- A supermarket not at the campsite itself, but two kilometres away, in Nieuwe Tonge. We can never offer you so many delicious things.
- Also run it Deltapad and other walking routes over the outer dike alongside the campsite. Camping De Grevelingen is located halfway along the Deltapad (LAW GR5 or LAW 5-1) and is an ideal overnight stop for anyone undertaking this long-distance walk.
